hey people I'm currently in Toronto and I'm loving the laid back summer days. Hahaha. There's no school here! That's why! Actually it's a bitter sweet without school. It's quite boring but on the good side, you don't have to do anything! Lol! So I'm still staying in the hotel and that's why I can't go msn every day. Only on some days cos the time margin is quite big! 12hours behind@! Okay, to date, I haven't caught the movie, Transformers. A little frustrated here! But I've seen South Park! Credits to Varun's recommendation!
In my hotel room, all I do is watch tv all day. It's wimbledon week still. Tennis action is goin on live on tv. My big heroine is already out of the tournament- Marion Bartoli beat Jelena Jankovic in a thrilling 3 sets. Anyways, Venus Williams got through the Quarter Finals surprisingly. It's her first quarter final since winning the wimbledon in 2005. I'm rooting for her now. As for the men's side, there's almost nothing to be said. It's either going to be Roger vs. Nadal in the final or Roger vs.Roddick. It's almost that clear, you know! I don't see any chance of Djokovic of breaking into this one.
Also, I watched Britain's got talent on the net. Discovered this brilliant six-yearold singer- Connie Talbot. You should really hear her sing! She captured the hearts of tv viewers in Britain with her own rendition of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". She has become an overnight Child Prodigy/sensation since singing that particular song in the audition. She sang that song again in the finals but unfortunately, she fell in the hands of Paul Potts- an opera singer with unbelievable vocals! Another great singer I discovered today is Tony Laf. He got through the semi-finals fo Britain's got talent but unfortunately didn't make it to the grand finals. I think he is absolutely FANTASTIC. He undoubtedly deserves a record deal with one of the top records company. His original composition- I'm good can now be found in youtube(live). His website is www.tonylaf.com be sure to check him out!
Okay, so enough about the singing thing. 2 days ago I went to the CN tower which is like one of the biggest tourist attraction in Toronto. It's adjacent to the Famous Ontario Lake which is now fully-packed with summer-lovers! Yes It's hot in here but still a bit breezy at times. The CN tower is highly sophisticated and the interior design of the building is awesome. My family went to eat at 360'. It's a rotating restaurant on top of the tower. The food is absolutely delicious! With the combination of breath-taking rotating views of Toronto and of course Ontario Lake, I'm gonna have to say that this one's a big winner. 10/10!!! The best restaurant I've ever been to.
So, today's a little bit rainy but since I haven't been outside all day, I'm gonna have to say that it absolutely doesn't bother me. Currently it's 4 in the afternoon. Gonna log off now. Thanks for reading this. See you whenever I can write.
